ATL!!

Believe it or not, I had a pretty descent time in the ATL. Friday was probably the best of the three days. Joanne, her friend Melissa and Marle (who are cousins), her roommate Rae and me drove up and met up with a friend of ours that recently moved up there. The whole point of the trip was to get a housewarming gift (i.e. break that bitch in) for our friend, and for some of the crew to go to a conference. The rest of the "conglomerate" met up with us that evening. "Conglomerate" refers to the various ethnicities in our little clique. I am pretty much the only American born out of the group. Everyone else was born and partly raised in one or several countries. So Friday we went shopping for food and movies and pretty chilled. After we emptied an entire liter of wine, our host asked if any of us wanted to attend a club opening. I (of course) said hell yeah. So that night I didnt get any sleep, since I was rubbed up all over by my host in a good way. And there was also the shit load of liquor in my system.
Saturday was not so pleasant. Although four of the girls were suppose to be at conferences, only two went, and they came back early. So all 9 of us end up going to the museum, which was my idea, back when there was only suppose to be two of us going. After almost getting kicked out of the museum, we went to eat and shop at a korean market in Duluth. Unfortunately, not everyone was pleased to spend about 3 hours at the market. We had to rush back to mid town to shop at Ikea for the homewarming gift, which ended up being a George Foreman grill from Target.
That evening, our host planned to take all of us to clubs, however, the party got started a little early at the house. So a few were too tipsy before we even left for the night club. This is when I found out that one of the girls had a much more intimate relationship in the past, and the liquor only made it worst. She bitched the entire ride to downtown about her jealousy with him being in ATL and inviting one of his other female 'friends' out with us, despite the fact that their relationship ended a while ago. All the while, my friend Patrice was sick and not saying anything about it. I ended up driving because (strangely enough) I was the only one sober enough to drive. At the club, after a frustrating issue with parking, we get inside and Patrice finally vomits. I end up taking her back, and when I return to pick up the others, apparently the owner of the car was distressed that I left with it. Let me mention that the entire time in ATL she didnt drive her car, that I drove most of the way up to ATL, and that in the city, our host drove us around in her car, AND she never knew where her keys were the entire trip. I told her when we entered the club that I had her keys, and later when I was trying to nurse Patrice back to health, I informed her that Patrice was sick and that I might have to take her home. Joanne and everyone else was aware that she was sick. Despite all of the anger and yelling, everyone else had a good time. I didnt, but that's not a big deal.
And I managed not to talk with Drew over the weekend, well minus the time before I left and maybe a quick message when we got into town. But that was it. I am not going to sign on at all until Tuesday night. I have to work that night, so I wont be on until late, and if my hunch is correct, he wont be online. He will be wooing his other lady. As nice as it would be to have him waiting up for me, I doubt it will happen.
I suggest:
Atlanta has a great night life. Enjoy various treats, and be sure to mix in a little old with the new.
NEW: Maiden's Blush
1 part gin
1 part curacao
add grenadine till you get that rosy cheek color. It's guaranteed to give it to you.
