Swift Changes

I'm back, and better than ever. Okay, so not exactly. I still have a drinking habit and shoe fetish like none other. Which I will be indulging in even more. You are looking at the new store manager of a Nine West (yeah, I know, waste of a pay check). But I vow to only buy shoes when... (insert wise statement here)
To update: Drew still talks to me, although we have not really seen each other since February. With my graduation, (that I tell you about in a minute) he promised dinner and all that good stuff. Of course, he has not followed through with any of it, and is sitting at home with family now, not thinking about tired little me. Graduation happened, but I didn't participate: I am simply too broke to rent a freaking robe and to sit for two hours listening to all of the over acheivers get their metals and shit. I am content to know that I finished one degree, and hopefully will be finishing the other one in year.
The most shocking thing of all to happen is Gina telling my "dirty" little secret to Chad, and not saying anything. He tells me last week and the knows about the whole story, and says he's hurt he wasnt told and feels lied to. So I apologize. And then, probably out spite, mentions his opinion about my life experience and being with Drew. His thoughts are that Drew wanted to keep things quiet out of shame. Naturally I am hurt,(not to mention drunk at the time) and some other things are said, such as me not happy with Chad being back.
Not to worry though, we made up a few days later, simply because we wanted someone to spend time with over the weekend. I am not sure if I made the right decision or not. And of course, in the back of my mind there has always been the thought that maybe he doesn't want people to know he is sleeping with a Black girl (FYI: I am Black). Having it voiced out loud was awful. Now I have doubts with everyone, Drew, Chad, and Gina. Especially since Gina didn't feel the need to call me back after I told her what happened.
I suggest: Call on the two friends that will never let you down. Have a Jack and Cranberry followed by a Bombay on the rocks.
